Production Worker

Calgary, AB

The Production Worker will be responsible for operating equipment and preparing items for distribution. This role requires high level of responsibility, honesty, hard work, and Health and Safety attitude. The Production Worker will perform all duties in a timely and orderly fashion to the best of their abilities and with the utmost due care, integrity and professionalism.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

General Duties:

  • Make a personal commitment to consistently provide superior candidate experience improve ECCO’s employer brand in the market
  • Maintain good working relationship with all co-workers and ECCO employees
  • Read and comply with ECCO’s Human Resources Policies and Procedures
  • Read and comply with ECCO’s Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Assist in the success of ECCO’s Safety Program with suggestions, by setting a good example, and by ensuring that safety is at the forefront of your actions while at work
  • Prepare and assemble galvanized steel, stainless steel and aluminum sub-assemblies
  • Use a wide variety of mechanical and welding machinery to assemble finished products
  • Sheet metal forming and bending
  • Perform custom hand assembly
  • Conduct regular quality checks to test for non-conformance’s
  • Opportunity for advancement and growth within other departments (General Manufacturing, Shipping)

Requirements

  • Required shift work rotation (day/afternoon/nights)
  • Able to use handheld and power tools
  • Able to read and understand measurements
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Manufacturing/assembly experience considered an asset
  • Experience working with steel and aluminum considered an asset
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
