Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator is a multi-faceted corporate position and is intended to provide ECCO with marketing support and assist with the implementation of the marketing strategies. The Marketing Coordinator will communicate with customers, all ECCO divisions and the leadership team of the ECCO Group as required to create marketing communication strategies. This role will also be required to work co-operatively with the marketing team, ECCO Supply Branch Managers, ECCO Manufacturing team and other stakeholders to provide marketing advice and guidance in identifying communication opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

General Duties:

  • Maintain a good working relationship with all co-workers and ECCO employees
  • Read and comply with ECCO’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Read and comply with ECCO’s Human Resources Policies and Procedures
  • Assist in the success of ECCO’s Safety Program with suggestions and by setting a good example, also by ensuring that safety is at the forefront of your actions while at work

Marketing Coordinator:

  • Generate and maintain advertising and tradeshow calendars and ensure their timely execution
  • Keep promotional, SWAG and display materials ready by coordinating requirements with branches, and graphics department; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
  • Independently coordinate marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral
  • Assist Digital Marketing Coordinator with developing and managing content and social media marketing programs, including blogs and public relations efforts
  • Create and maintain product databases, catalogues and web listings
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs and to ensure competitiveness
  • Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring a consistent voice
  • Maintain and update Vendor/Dealer programs working with Marketing Administrator to process, track and report on Co-op and rebate programs for vendors, customers
  • Promote and maintain the ECCO Rewards program working with Marketing Administrator to process, track and report on point status
  • Implement and maintain Project management software (i.e. Monday.com or equivalent)
  • Manage all branch digital (TV) displays and POS material
  • Manage and implement e-mail marketing software and campaigns
  • Plan and manage meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, and logistics, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists
  • Work with Graphic Design and Digital Marketing Coordinator to provide communication and collateral materials that support product roll-outs to branches and to manage the recurring program and promotional activities
  • Execute strategy for promoting and managing all products and marketing information pertaining to product categories in all locations
  • Drive market research efforts, including but not limited to customer purchasing behaviour and channel feedback
  • Monitors and tracks marketing budget by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Assist department with invoicing and day-to-day tasks
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by Management

Qualifications

  • 2 Years’ recent, related Marketing experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Completion of Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related discipline.
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
  • Previous experience in B2B, manufacturing or related industry is an asset.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Previous experience with Project Management software (i.e. Monday.com or similar)
  • Advanced use of WordPress, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time; ability to travel into the U.S.A.
